Gaming & Technology Expo is making a big entrance in Mexico City

(Mexico City) - GAT Expo CDMX 2025 is shaping up to be a highly relevant event for the Latin American gaming industry. The program will run from August 26th to 28th and will bring together industry leaders, operators, manufacturers, regulators, and suppliers in a comprehensive agenda that combines two-day academic experience, exhibition booths, and business networking.

Gaming & Technology Expo is making a big entrance in Mexico City

The Preview

The activities will begin on Tuesday, August 26th, with the LMG Fútbol Experience, an amateur soccer tournament organized by Latam Media Group, which will bring together business leaders from different countries in an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie among colleagues. The soccer matches will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Jesús 'Palillo' Martínez stadium and will mark the perfect prelude to a week of networking and connection building. This sports experience already has a successful track record at industry fairs in various locations.

GAT Expo CDMX Institutional Academy

On Wednesday, August 27, the GAT Expo CDMX Institutional Academy will open in the morning with a conference program addressing topics of high interest to the Mexican and Latin American markets. Some of the topics confirmed by prominent figures and experts include: The Present and Future of the Gaming Sector in Mexico; Draft of the New Federal Gaming and Lottery Law; Importation and Marketing of Machines; Affiliate Marketing; Innovation in Online Gaming, iGaming, and Sports Betting; and Combating Illegal Gambling; a vision and analysis of experiences with the presence of the Colombian regulator and former regulators from Uruguay and Paraguay.

The GAT organization highlights the presence of distinguished Latin American jurists such as Carlos Portilla, Óscar Paredes Arroyo, Miguel Ángel Ochoa, Karen Sierra Hughes, Marco Emilio Hincapié, President of Coljuegos, Luis Gama, former director of Casinos, Loterías y Quinielas of Uruguay, Javier Balbuena, former president of CONAJZAR, Paraguay, and Alfredo Lazcano.

Trade Showcase at Stands

On Thursday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m., the traditional ribbon-cutting will take place with the presence of authorities, association leaders, and business leaders, officially opening the trade show at stands that will continue until 8:00 p.m. National and international companies will present cutting-edge technological solutions, products, platforms, and services aimed at both physical and online casino operators. This space will serve as a key meeting point for forging alliances and closing commercial agreements.

Specialized Workshops and LA/FT Course

On Thursday, August 28, from 10:30 a.m. m. From 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., a robust agenda of specialized workshops will take place, with a practical and participatory approach. Another new development being launched by GAT Expo in Mexico City is the Immersive Course on Money Laundering/Terrorism and Terrorism Prevention, curated by attorney Tatiana Vásquez, an international expert with extensive knowledge and professional experience in regulation and compliance in the Latin American gaming industry. This course will bring together compliance experts and offer key tools for risk mitigation in gaming operations.

Latin American Association Summit

The Latin American Association Summit will take place simultaneously, a space for institutional dialogue with the participation of the presidents and delegates of the continent's main trade associations: AIEJA, APOJA, CIBELAE, FECOLJUEGOS, CORNAZAR, and SONAJA. The meeting seeks to serve as the starting point for the creation of a permanent platform for dialogue and strategic cooperation among the sector's leading associations in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Networking and CSR

Casino Big Bola Santa Fe has joined GAT Expo CDMX with a welcome cocktail reception at its facilities on Wednesday, August 27th. Sponsors and special guests will attend the event in a select environment conducive to high-level networking.

Additionally, GAT announces the inclusion in the program of a corporate poker tournament coordinated by SoluestBet to benefit the Curando Foundation, an organization that develops important CSR projects in Mexico.
